Application Form:
We are committed to finding the best forever home for each of our dogs. Although our application form is lengthy, we feel it is necessary to fully evaluate the match and ensure a good placement where both the dog and the owner(s) will be happy long term. We thank you for taking the time to fully complete this form.
Adoption fee:
Our adoption fee is between $250-$500. Our dogs are fully vetted upon coming into our rescue, and they are given the medical care they require for as long as it takes to find their forever home. This process is a huge financial commitment. Our adoption fee covers only a small portion of the expenses of responsibly caring for our dogs.
Spay/Neuter policy:
All of our dogs/puppies are spay/neutered. If for some reason, the dog is unable to be altered before adoption, we require a $150 refundable deposit. This deposit will be returned upon proof of spay/neuter. Our rescue will pay for spay/neuter; however, the owner is responsible in complying with scheduled appointments and surgery requirements. As overpopulation is a major problem, and the cause of so many adoptable pets being euthanized, we are firm regarding this policy.
Home check policy:
A home check is required before adoption. Because of this, we limit adoptions to homes within a 3 hour driving radius from our location in central NJ. We have placed dogs throughout NJ, NY, and parts of CT and PA.
Puppy training and classes:
Pupply classes for dogs under 6 months are required and proof of registration is to be provided. Pupply classes and dog training not only help socialize dogs but provides fundamental and basic training for a better home environment. Our rescue will provide adopters with a list of approved training facilities and/or dog trainers.
