What is your adoption fee?
Our adoption fee is between $200-$350.  Our dogs are fully vetted and given the medical care they require for as long as it takes to find their best forever home. This process is a huge financial commitment. Our Adoption fee covers only a small portion of the expenses of responsibly caring for our dogs.

Where are our dogs housed?
We use amazing foster homes, boarding facility, and a private kenneling setting run by our volunteers.  Our dogs are given the opportunity to socialize and have a variety of positive experiences prior to adoption.

Are your dogs vetted prior to adoption?
All our dogs are fully vetted upon coming into our rescue.

What is your spay/neuter policy?
All of our dogs/puppies are spay/neutered. If, for some reason (medical), the dog is unable to be altered before adoption, we require a $100 refundable deposit.  This deposit will be returned upon proof of spay/ neuter.  As overpopulation is a major problem, and the cause of so many adoptable pets being euthanized, we are firm regarding this policy.

Where do your dogs come from?
Majority of our dogs are pulled off the "Urgent - To Be Destroyed" lists of shelters including the NYC Animal Care and Control and local NJ shelters.  Occasionally dogs are pulled from shelters of the southeastern U.S.
 
Do we accept owner surrenders?
Upon occasion we have accepted owner surrenders.  Generally, we maintain our foster homes filled to capacity, to save as many lives as possible.  Therefore we are more likely to assist an owner in the process of re-homing their pet.

Do we allow out of state adoptions?
Yes we do.  We accept applications from adopters within a 3 hour driving radius from us. We have placed dogs throughout NJ, most of NY and parts of CT and PA.
